APEX (Air Products Express)
This is a 24/7 solutions oriented services and supply chain business providing hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen, argon and helium in gas or liquid form. The Driver/Technician will be required to safely deliver these gases to Air Products’ customers and utilize various types of equipment including nitrogen and hydrogen pumpers that mainly support the refinery, pipeline and petrochemical market segments.
This position requires travel to customer sites with nitrogen service equipment to perform various duties from purging lines, cool downs, inert entry and other various applications. The Technician will be required to travel both in and out of state with the ability to work variable schedules (including nights and weekends). A 40-hour pay is guaranteed, regardless of the workload! CDL Class A with tanker and hazmat is required as this position requires 10-20% driving. The other 80-90% of the work will be as an Operating Technician/Mechanic to operate and maintain equipment. Technicians will often be on the road the duration of their scheduled shift, working 12-hour days, depending on demand.
