Air Products Announces the Appointment of Mr. Anand Chordia as Managing Director of Prodair Air Products India Pvt. Ltd

Mr. Chordia Also Becomes Head of the Company’s World-class Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) Center in Pune, India

Air Products (NYSE:APD) today announced that it has appointed Mr. Anand Chordia as managing director, Prodair Air Products India Pvt. Ltd; as well as head of Air Products’ world-class Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) center in Pune, India. 

Commenting on the appointment, Air Products’ Joerg Linsenmaier, vice president Global Project Execution, Manufacturing, Construction & Start-Up, said, “I am very pleased that Anand has joined Air Products. Anand brings extensive experience in the EPC industry, both domestically and globally. He also has an exceptional business, technical and functional skill set gained during a career spanning over 26 years within engineering and project-related disciplines. We are excited to have Anand join our organisation and look forward to the strength his leadership will bring to our India-based EPC center.”

Anand joins Air Products from Larsen & Toubro, where since 2017 he was Global Delivery head – Plant Engineering Business Unit for L&T Technology Services and was responsible and accountable for leading a business unit with over 1000 staff based across Vadodara, Mumbai and Chennai, India. Prior to that, Anand served as vice president – Project Execution for Linde Engineering India Pvt. Ltd.

Anand holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from M.S University, Vadodara, India. He is also a certified internal auditor for ISO processes and a certified green belt for Six-Sigma methodology.
